Preparing for a Cleanse

So your Bio Cleanse Detox Kit has been ordered, and you are keen to make the most of it and would like to start preparing, so what to do?

Increase Healthy Foods

It is a good idea to start cutting back on acid forming foods from the list below, and also to increase the alkaline forming foods. These alkaline forming foods are cleansing and rejuvenating to the body, whereas acid forming foods are generally the opposite.

  • Sugar
  • Bottled salad dressings
  • Canned and frozen food
  • Cigarettes
  • Cooked grains, except Millet and Quinoa
  • Dairy (butter, cheese, ice cream, milk, etc.)
  • Distilled vinegar

  • Fruits that have been glazed or sulfured
  • Meat, fish, birds, shellfish

  • Raw, cold-pressed, organic olive oil
  • Raw, cold-pressed, organic flax seed oil

Start Taking Supergreens

Another great thing to do to build mineral reserves is to start consuming a good organic green superfood powder, that contains the "Superfoods" such as barley grass, wheat grass, chlorella and others. A good recipe can be found here.

By consuming these healthy kinds of foods, your body will be able to replenish it's alkaline mineral reserves, which will greatly aid the cleansing process and allow your body to process and remove toxins more easily.

Drink More Water

Drinking more water is also another extremely helpful habit, as it is estimated that most people are dehydrated.
